Maybe we could re-member
If we weren’t so dazzled by modernity
Allured by its chemical brightness
Obscured by its promises
Blinded by its tech white noise
Exiled by its blinding silence
Imprisoned by its aseptic and white imagination
Amputated by its shiny categories
Annihilated by the collapse of multiplicity for the sake of security
Maybe we could re-member
Recall
Recollect
Evoke
Relive
All of life’s intrinsic value
Your inherent worth
The innate significance of all beings
How we all breathe together
Inevitably entangled
Unavoidably interwoven
Consistently braided
Collectively incorporated
Inherently intertwined
Reciprocally responsible for each other
Maybe we could join life’s conversation
Listening to the stones
Learning from mountains
Feeling with the waters
Dreaming with trees
Again
I’m working to make all posts open to everyone. Paid subscriptions help support the depth of this research, allowing these narratives to continue gestating outside institutional and market demands. You’re invited to support if you feel called, but your presence here, as a living witness, is already part of the story.
Honor hystera. Re-member. Response-ability. (Un)learn together.

Sofia, thank you so much. This poem speaks to my soul. 🙏🏿
