The Woman of the Hot Land
The Woman of the Hot Land revolts
She rebels
She writhes
She dances in the sacred fire
The flames lick her skin
Her feet on the ground are not burned
They stamp hard
They pulse
They touch
The Woman of the Hot Land howls
Her echo can be heard thousands of miles away
Her guts twist in sacred rage
Hands on the ground
Chest on the earth
The Woman of the Hot Land calls
She hears
She sings
The Woman of the Hot Land surrenders
She delights
She pours herself out
She screams
The Woman of the Hot Land lives in your heart
And with every beat, she asks you
How do you surrender?
I’m working to make all posts open to everyone. Paid subscriptions help support the depth of this research, allowing these narratives to continue gestating outside institutional and market demands. You’re invited to support if you feel called, but your presence here, as a living witness, is already part of the story. You can also check out my online bookstore.
