I have written several times about this subject. The point is that we are substantially and culturally blind to the primordial influence of the places at the core of our being.
We are always somewhere, no matter how many distractions, addictions, vices, beliefs, or walls separate and imprison us, distracting us from this native relationship. We are essentially systemic beings, being symbiotic co-creators of places, in diversity and uniqueness. Furthermore, we are observers and active participants of this mystical poetry of sounds, smells, colors, textures, temperatures, and multidimensional sensations that always involve us from birth until we die.
We create ourselves by re-creating and regenerating our places. We grow, and become more present and connected, waking up to the immanent sacredness of reality.
How can we create ourselves within a cultural vision of the systematic destruction of nature?
How do we balance our anxieties, fears, and sadness in the face of the constant illusion of individual loneliness?
